Brief Description:

On Sunday October 25, we will be hosting an Open Discussion Forum and Chinese Dinner party. At the Open Discussion Forum, Professor XiaoLin Li will share with us his knowledge on Governing Requirements on Actuaries and Chief Actuaries in China; and the most recent legal and market Insurance development in China.

He is a fellow of the China Association of Actuaries. He also takes leading roles in other research institutions, including China Pension Institute, Insurance Institute of China, and China Center of Economic Index, and has greatly contributed to actuarial education and research development in China.

We will also have Professor William C. Hsiao as our special guest. He is an American economist and a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, the K.T. Li Professor of Economics at the Harvard School of Public Health in Boston, Massachusetts. He is internationally recognized for his work on Insurance development in China and health care financing and social insurance.

All are welcome but seats are limited.

CAC is also one of the sponsors for the International Session Reception on Tuesday October 27. During this session, Professor XiaoLin Li, as the keynote speaker, will speak on Insurance Industry and Actuarial Profession in China. Don¡¦t forget to register for this event.
