Rapidly growing consulting firm in the South East is seeking a credentialed actuary with a solid health consulting background. Work will involve both health and health and welfare consulting to clients that are in the Public Sector and Taft Hartley arena. Duties will include financial analysis of benefit plans, including renewal analysis, RFP's, employee contributions, and insurance contracts.

Analyze claims and develop cost projections for self-funded medical and dental plans. Serve as liaison between carriers and clients, including vendor negotiations, troubleshoot questions regarding benefit programs, support consultants on client renewals including spreadsheet preparation and analysis of claims data. reviewing all plan materials and researching any plan design changes. Strong client facing skills needed.
