This international insurance company is seeking an actuary to assume the following responsibilities: Valuation, ALM, and actuarial analysis support for one of the Far East branches. The position will involve the following duties: preparing, reviewing and analyzing actuarial items, reviewing valuation methods and assumptions, insuring integrity of valuation process and results by performing relevant SOX controls, assisting with preparation of actuarial items for the branch budget, providing an actuarial resource to regional and local offices, performing asset liability modeling including cash flow testing and economic capital models for the region, making recommendations to improve the financial reporting process for the region and monitoring regulatory requirements and actuarial standards.
