Consulting client looking to add to their plan conversion and implementation team by adding a QA Manager and QA Analyst to their staff. The Quality Assurance Manager is primarily responsible for overall quality of administration software for defined benefit and defined contribution plans. Primary responsibilities will focus on writing test cases against requirements and developing / running manual and automated tests. The QA Analyst will be an identical job minus the management component. Duties include: Meet and exceed business user expectations for software quality and timeliness of releases. Understand how business users utilize the application in their daily workflows to anticipate correct and incorrect usage of current applications and new enhancements. Building and continually improving an automated environment for writing, validating and executing test scripts using custom developed software and commercial systems including Mercury’s Quick Test Pro. Validate the existing QA framework and adjust as necessary to meet the objectives of quality management. Mentor team members to adopt best practices to meet team and department goals. Perform both automated and manual testing to ensure knowledge of overall system and to aid in mentoring. Ideal candidate will have: Leadership Skills, Technology Skills, Experienced with building and enhancing automated testing using Quick Test Professional, Quality Center, and Test Director. Willing to pursue exams with the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries (ASPPA)
