AVP & Actuary opening in New Jersey. Supervise the pricing and financial projection analysis for the reinsurance assumed business, including recommendations for assumptions, methodology, deal participation and projection of expected future results; develop and analyze internal and external risk management procedures to ensure the integrity of business model; work with other professionals within the department to develop and implement a strategy for profitably increasing our reinsurance assumed business; provide main contact point for existing and potential reinsurance clients for both ceded and assumed businesses; negotiate and supervise implementation of new reinsurance arrangements for direct business, including oversight of the RFP process and coordination between all clients, both internal and external; supervise the drafting, review, execution and maintenance of all ceded and assumed treaties. FSA/ASA with extensive knowledge of life insurance and annuity products and financials required; working knowledge of life reinsurance preferred and a knowledge of the Life Reinsurance risk management.
