An outstanding opportunity is available on the East Coast for a consulting leader and business developer with an interest or experience in managing a consulting office for a national firm. This individual will manage and oversee the successful operation of a single field office. This individual will be responsible for expanding and developing revenue/business and maintaining profitability and ensuring the successful operation of business. He or she may also be responsible for the maintenance and growth of product line(s). Other responsibilities include: increasing revenue and maintaining the profitability of the office each year; ensuring preservation of existing accounts and providing efficient and thorough service to clients; demonstrating the ability to market new products and improve business relationships with existing and prospective clients using cross-selling and other marketing techniques; possible involvement with staffing and growth of product line(s) and for developing product and processing enhancements within product line to improve quality and increase productivity; coordinating with human resources to ensure proper selection and staffing of office; demonstrating the ability to attract high quality consultants into the company using own reputation, contacts, knowledge of discipline and marketing skills; providing regional leadership with group and account information including the identification of variances, trends, and known problems that could impact the firm; planning, coordinating, directing, supervising and reviewing the employees in the field offices; planning career growth and providing opportunities for employees; coordinating operations and support services provided to group including human resources, finance, administration, systems, marketing and researching and reporting on results. Requirements: Visionary leader with outstanding staff management ability and demonstrated experience in managing a consulting practice or office; strong track record in business development and client relationship management at the C-level; 15 or more years of experience with a national actuarial or benefits consulting firm.
