Consulting firm is seeking a Retirement Associate for one of their Midwest offices. This individual should be capable of working on a variety of challenging assignments. Will apply skills in a broad, diversified way, such as assisting clients with their core defined benefit needs. The opportunity will allow for participation in client meetings, exposure to a variety of special projects such as mergers and acquisitions, plan terminations and non-discrimination testing. The ideal candidate for this position will have prior experience working with defined benefit plans, and the ability to work in teams as well as autonomously. Candidates should have at minimum two exams passed toward their ASA designation. Will also have some technical knowledge dealing with issues such as ERISA, FAS 87, FAS 88 and FAS 106.
