Global Consulting Firm in the Midwest looking for a Benefits Administration Associate. The responsibilities of this position include completing pension benefit calculations, including terminations, early and normal retirement, disability and death benefits payable from all types of qualified and non-qualified pension plans; preparing pension benefit statements, including calculations of entries and production; preparing required forms, letters and/or packages to be sent to clients and participants regarding their pension plans; participating in the creation and implementation of benefit administration calculation systems. The client would like to see candidates with Bachelors Degree in Math, Risk Management, Statistics, Finance, or other related field required, along with strong analytical skills; Excel skills required; working knowledge of Access and Visual Basic a plus; Must be comfortable and productive working in a team oriented environment and must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills; Strong at multi-tasking and managing work to meet challenging deadlines
