Health Insurer in the Northeast US has a need for a Manager or Director Health Actuary within their Corporate Actuarial Department. The incumbent should have strong knowledge of the health care industry and experience designing and building actuarial models. The ideal candidate would have a solid understanding of healthcare, including prescription drug, behavioral health, vision and life insurance benefits, 5 years of health care experience. In addition, successful actuarial exam experience is required with a minimum of four exams passed, ASA or FSA designation are preferred. The incumbent needs to have the ability to communicate actuarial principles to non-actuaries.
