Non-traditional Life Reinsurance opening in New York/Connecticut. Responsibilities include: research, client or consultant visits, writing proposals and business plans including financial and capital projections in order for senior management to determine whether or not to move forward; present to and work with senior management in a collaborative manner and will have the ability to influence the decision of the group; work with key personnel to determine how best to integrate new market solutions into pricing, underwriting, operations and valuation disciplines; expected to take the leadership role in the implementing the new market solutions. (e.g. Longevity, Variable Annuity Reinsurance, Long Term Care, Capital Markets); The ideal candidate will have 10 or more years of experience in one or more of the following disciplines: Product development, Reinsurance, Financial / Tax, Leadership position, Capital markets, Mergers, acquisitions, divestitures; Ideal candidate will be a FSA or ASA with 10 or more years of experience; CERA or CFA is a plus.
