Insurance company looking to add an actuarial analyst to their staff. Ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of preferably health experience, although willing to also look at other lines of business as long as the individual has at least 2 SOA exams passed up to a newer ASA and solid background and skill set with EXCEL and databases. Analyst will assist in the transition of the health insurance business including working with Underwriting and Renewals departments on providing data to the assumption carrier, updating and maintaining the rating system, and maintaining existing reports. Develop and maintain actuarial reporting for current Wellness products. Assist in the development and pricing of new and existing wellness/insurance products. Assist in calculating reserves for new or existing products. Perform research, experience studies, and other statistical

analyses. Prepare and proof actuarial work product for presentation or publication to internal and external customers. Strong computer skills a must. Specifically using Excel (with VBA experience) and experience with relational databases including writing queries using SQL a plus. Demonstrated understanding of actuarial statistics and assumptions used for modeling cost, risk and revenue trends
