Major areas of responsibilities include: preparation and analysis of vendor proposals, including health, stop loss, life and disability coverages; management (create and/or review and audit) of documents such as proposals, SPDs, RFPs, contracts, memoranda, e-mails, etc. for quality, accuracy and clarity; conduct renewal analyses, budget projections, and vendor negotiations; act as liaison between client and third party vendors regarding contract, service and coverage issues; research of benefit laws. 1-3 years of related experience with a consulting, employee benefits or insurance company.
