Interact directly with team members, clients and other professionals in providing an integrated and thorough approach to meeting client’s financial needs. Perform these duties at a high level of proficiency, is responsible for analytical work, collaborates effectively with team members, and interfaces directly with consultants, clients, and vendors. Responsibilities include renewal analyses, budget projections, and vendor negotiations; analysis and interpretation of health care data for self-funded clients; pricing of benefit changes for health coverages utilizing experience and/or manual rating tools; financial analysis of vendor proposals, including health, stop loss, dental, vision, life and disability coverages; assisting consultants with the presentation of financial data to clients; working on ad hoc analysis reports and project. Bachelor's degree in a related field; credit for a minimum of 3, or preferably 4 actuarial exams; a minimum of 2 years of financial accounting or group health/dental underwriting or actuarial experience.
