Health Benefits Analyst opening in Washington D.C. or San Francisco. Work collaboratively with clients and other professionals in providing an integrated and thorough approach to client matters. Interface directly with clients and providers. Additional responsibilities may include: preparation of bid specifications; analyses of proposals; preparation of quarterly and annual financial reports; renewal analyses; benefit plan pricing; analyses of complex technical data with regard to benefit plans in both traditional indemnity and managed care environments; preparing budget projections; claims cost analysis; and preparing claims curves for retiree health valuations. College degree, strong mathematical or accounting background, excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral), and proficiency in use of computer software and programs.
