The Chinese Actuarial - Career Opportunities

P&C Actuary opening in Singapore. Collaborate closely with the underwriting team, including attending and travelling to client meetings, and delivering presentations to customers; contribute to the growth and profitability of the Singapore office as a member of the management team; work with worldwide Chief Actuary to establish actuarial processes for the Singapore office; price reinsurance transactions; complete studies to improve pricing parameters and identify profitability of various segments of business; work with cat modelling team to assure that catastrophe modelling is completed on all contracts where possible and to assure that office catastrophe aggregates are included in corporate roll-ups; prepare necessary pricing documentation. FCAS or FIA with 8+ years of experience working as a general insurance or reinsurance actuary and 4 to 5 years of hands-on reinsurance pricing experience strongly preferred, experience working in the Asian market strongly preferred.
