Small regional firm headquartered out West looking for a retirement actuary to assume leadership responsibilities and have the ability to run and manage a small satellite office located in the Upper Midwest. Ideal candidate will have EA designation and be willing to be hands on when it comes to the work as well as the clients. Clients tend to be small to mid size and the work is primarily direct administration and not so much third party administration. Small plan experience would be a plus. The incumbent will run the office which currently has 5 total employees. This consists of 1 actuary and one student taking the EA exams. Will run the office and have primary responsibility with the book of clients. Will also be looked at to increase revenue and continue to build the practice.
