Volunteer Opportunities
We welcome comments and suggestions from our members
but we also need you to help make CAC relevant and responsive to our community.
Join us as volunteers to help plan, organize, and manage CAC activities.
We have open positions for club Secretary, Professional Development officers,
Web Content officers, Editors, Webmaster, and Article Contributors.

CAC is also currently seeking volunteers for the 2009 Summer Picnic.
Please contact Eric Wang at huayangw@yahoo.com if you would like to volunteer.

CAC Fast Facts

Some facts from the SOA membership:

  • There are over 1,600 actuaries with Chinese last names. That's 8% of the total SOA membership and growing! .
  • Chinese actuaries are spread out geographically in the North America, 21 cities have been identified with significant Chinese actuaries presence.

Our club announcements are sent to the listed names and some non-Chinese actuaries who have expressed interests in joining the CAC activities.

Your notes or articles are welcome if you would like to share with other members your personal or professional experience. CAC will continue the tradition of meeting once a year through the SOA Annual Meeting, which offers not only a great opportunity for us to meet and discuss actuarial and professional matters but to have fun too!
